LZ85

This site is dedicated to the tremendous courage and determination of the Zeppelin crews of World War 1.
I have been interested in World War 1 Zeppelins for some time now, and I would of liked to a have made a WEB site on all of the Zeppelins during this period. However, due to space and time, I have decided to concentrate on a specific Zeppelin. LZ85 might be a strange choice, as some of the other Zeppelins have a far greater and often tragic tale to be told. Shortly after my interest in Zeppelins, a very good friend of mine gave me a handkerchief depicting the demise of LZ85. This led me to try and find out as much as I could about this airship, and so I have dedicated this site to it. The site is under construction at the moment as I am hoping to add a lot more to it. I am also going to add snippets of information and pictures of other airships - as and when I get around to it.
Please contact me if you detect any errors or omissions!
My thanks go out to Harry C. Redner for the information that he has provided to correct my mistakes and omissions.
I would love to hear from anyone who as an interest in this Zeppelin or anyone that can provide further information.
